Festival Hire is looking for a friendly, motivated, methodical and enthusiastic person to join our team for our upcoming busy season. We’re seeking a true multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is organised and methodical, and brings confidence, reliability and the ability to work independently.

This is a fixed term, part-time position to run our processing area through our upcoming busy season.

We’re in the business of helping create some pretty awesome celebrations — from weddings and parties to corporate events and everything in between. Behind every great event is a team that makes it happen, and that’s where you come in!

Fixed term role | Saturday Showroom Area | Min 4.5hrs per week

Festival Hire has an opportunity for a friendly, creative person with first class customer service to join our team. 

This is a great entry level role with training provided in a fun and dynamic environment to work in. We are looking for an enthusiastic worker, someone that is methodical, confident, trustworthy and that can work under their own initiative to get a job done.  

Saturday 8.30am -1pm  (Additional hours during school holidays are available.)
Fixed term to support our busy event season October 2026 - April 2027

We are always on the look out for keen, fit and motivated team members for events through from November - April to work with our ground crew. These guys specialise in Marquee rigging and can travel throughout the Wairarapa and further to install our masterpieces.

These roles can be fixed-term covering our busy summer/event season or casual employment.

This can suit someone that may have their own small business, have flexability or seasonal workers that are keen to experince the Wairarapa for a few weeks or months.
